November 2014 aufgebrochen um eine &#8216;Tierra desconocida&#8217; zu entdecken. Die Reise begann mit dem Verlassen meiner Wohnung\u00a0 in einem kleinen schweizer Dorf. Es war ein nasser, kalter und nebliger Morgen als ich abreiste. Das beste Wetter um eine Reise zu starten. Mein Ziel ist Ecuador, die erste Station Cuenca. Das ist die drittgr\u00f6sste Stadt des Landes. Sie liegt im Hochland der Anden, eingebettet zwischen den Gebirgsz\u00fcgen &#8216;Cordillera Occidental&#8217; und &#8216;Cordillera Costanera&#8217; auf 2500m.\u00fc.m. Hier werde ich die ersten 6 Wochen verbringen. Ich besuche einen Spanisch Kurs und wohne bei einer Gastfamilie. Es ist sch\u00f6n wie herzlich ich hier \u00fcberall aufgenommen werde.<\/p>\n<p>Die Schule heisst <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yanapumaspanish.org\">Yanapuma<\/a>. Yana ist ein Wort der Quechua Sprache und bedeutet schwarz, Puma ist die bekannte schwarze Raubkatze. Es ist eine kleine Schule in einem sch\u00f6nen alten Haus aus der Kolonialzeit. Die Schule geh\u00f6rt zu einer Non-profit Organisation. Der Gewinn wird verwendet zur F\u00f6rderung und Durchf\u00fchrung von nachhaltigen Entwicklungsprojekten in benachteiligten Gebieten.<\/p>\n<p>Nebst der Schule unternehme ich nat\u00fcrlich Streifz\u00fcge durch die Stadt um Land und Leute kennen zu lernen und um zu fotografieren. Manchmal gehe ich joggen im Parque de la Madre und neu habe ich nun auch zweimal in der Woche &#8216;Clase de baile&#8217;. Am Wochenende war ich auf einer sechsst\u00fcndigen Wanderung im Nationalpark Cajas auf 4080m.\u00fc.m.<\/p>\n<p>Einige Fotos meiner ersten Streifz\u00fcge durch Cuenca und von der
